About Us

Hap-Hazard Creativity came into being through the joint efforts of three brave artists.

During one whirlwind holiday season in 2017, the opportunity to rent a brick and mortar storefront arose. Scott, Burma, and Heather were right in the middle of vending the biggest market of the year- the Eugene Saturday Market's Holiday Market, a 6 week long commitment. But nothing would stop them from realizing their dreams of having a place to offer their art year round, protected from the Oregon weather.

They cobbled together their wares and displayed them on a shoestring budget. Even with what little they had, the place was starting to look good! Other artists in the area quickly took notice. It seemed only natural to open the space to others and pledge to exclusively offer locally made, handcrafted items.

Since February 2017, they have stayed true with their intentions to support the local economy and offers unique, high quality gifts, housewares, and artwork crafted by artists living in Springfield and the surrounding area.
